Which kickstand is right for my bike?

Kickstands are rarely included as standard equipment on new bicycles. However, if you don’t have a bike stand at home or you get frustrated watching your bike fall over when you try to lean it against a wall or tree, consider installing a kickstand. Our aluminum kickstands are made to keep your bike standing upright for years. But how do I know which kickstand is right for my bike?

MEASURE DISTANCE FROM BIKE FRAME TO THE GROUND

Many of our kickstands are adjustable and fit on most bikes, but to be 100 % sure it does, there is a simple way to measure. 
Put the bike on a hard surface and lean it slightly to the left. We recommend a 6-8° tilt. Use a yardstick to measure the distance from the attachment points (Center, HV, DV) on the bike’s frame to the ground. This measurement is the shortest kickstand you should buy. Have a friend help you to make sure you measure correctly. If you intend to park your bike on soft surfaces like dirt, we recommend getting a slightly longer kickstand as it can sink slightly. However, a kickstand that is too long will not hold your bike steady on hard surfaces.
